Stana Katic attends Lone Ranger Premiere, Ciclavia Wilshire Blvd

Stana Katic fans had plenty of reasons to be overjoyed this weekend. Stana made two public appearances, the first being Disney’s “The Lone Ranger” premiere which was held Saturday, June 22nd in Disney’s California Adventure Theme Park in Anaheim, California. Stana walked the red carpet in a black dress looking as stunning as ever. The film, starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer gets a theatrical release on July 3rd.

The second event Stana attended was one we had all been looking forward to since finding out she would be involved: the Ciclavia Wilshire Boulevard event on Sunday, June 23rd. Stana showed up with her bike (and helmet of course) ready to ride the 6-mile long route down the iconic Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. No cars were allowed on Wilshire for the day, as pedestrians, bikes, and scooters filled the street from 9am to 4pm. Stana was photographed talking to children, riding her bike, and she also started the day off with a short speech about the Alternative Travel Project in which she quoted the following Greek Proverb: “A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.” Stana continued with “So participating in today’s event with Ciclavia, means that we are investing in the reverberating effects of a future that we may never know.” Stana thanked everyone for ATP-ing for the day, whether or not they were aware they were doing that. For more information on how to participate in the next Ciclavia event head over to Ciclavia’s website.

As always, it was a great weekend to be a fan of Stana Katic.
